Job summary

Qapitol Qa is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in India to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for API and Web applications. The role emphasizes API testing, UI automation, and strong programming skills to deliver scalable software.

You will work with Postman, Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in API Automation & API Testing.
• Strong experience in Web Automation (UI testing).
• Good programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript (any one preferred).
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Rest Assured.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and request/response validation.
• Familiarity with framework design (POM, BDD, Hybrid frameworks).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities
