Responsibilities

• End-to-end preparation and processing of monthly payrolls for India, Singapore, China & Malaysia.
• Full lifecycle payroll responsibilities including BAU, year-end tasks and audits.
• Answer payroll-related employee queries.
• Coordinate with employees and stakeholders for payroll inputs and approvals.
• Partner with HR and Finance for payroll reviews and queries.
• Collaborate with People teams for smooth payroll operations.
• Work with external payroll providers on monthly payroll processing.
• Assist Global Payroll Manager on audits, reviews, and special projects.
• Stay updated with payroll legislation across locations.

Job description

Payroll Specialist (6-8 years’ Experience) Role Description Responsible for processing and advising on payrolls located in APAC specially India Payroll. The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for contributing to payroll related projects, providing timely and accurate payroll reporting and data to the business as required.

Specific Role Responsibilities

• End-to end preparation and processing of the monthly payrolls for India, Singapore, China & Malysia.
• Full lifecycle payroll responsibilities including BAU, end of year tasks and audit requirements.
• Answering payroll related employee queries.
• Manage the communication with employees and other key stakeholders to obtain relevant information and approvals required for payroll processing.
• Partnering with the HR team and Finance for payroll review, approval and other queries.
• Work in partnership with the People teams to ensure smooth running of payrolls.
• Working with external payroll providers on the processing of the monthly payroll.
• Work alongside the Global Payroll Manager on any payroll related audits, reviews and/ or any special payroll related projects.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all payroll locations.

Experience Required

• Experience with running Apac (India) payrolls from end to end.
• Experience of Workday, Cloud Pay.
• Experience with using outsourced providers.
• Sound knowledge of relevant payroll legislation.
• Willingness and ability to learn other payroll legislation in applicable region.
• Conscientious with excellent attention to detail.
• Great team player committed to excellent customer service and exceeding delivery expectations.
