Job summary

FNZ Group in India is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for APAC, with a focus on India. You will work closely with HR, Finance and People teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and timely reporting.

The role involves liaison with external payroll vendors and supporting payroll-related projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday and Cloud Pay, a strong knowledge of payroll legislation, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience running APAC (India) payrolls end to end.
• Hands-on with Workday and Cloud Pay platforms.
• Experience managing outsourced payroll providers.
• Solid knowledge of payroll legislation in relevant regions.
• Willingness to learn other payroll legislation as needed.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end preparation and processing of monthly India payrolls.
• Support payroll-related projects and audits as required.
• Respond to employee payroll queries with accurate information.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and People teams for payroll data and approvals.

Job description

Role Description

Responsible for processing and advising on payrolls located in APAC specially India Payroll. The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for contributing to payroll related projects, providing timely and accurate payroll reporting and data to the business as required.

Specific Role Responsibilities

• End-to end preparation and processing of the monthly payrolls for India, Singapore, China & Malysia.
• Full lifecycle payroll responsibilities including BAU, end of year tasks and audit requirements
• Answering payroll related employee queries
• Manage the communication with employees and other key stakeholders to obtain relevant information and approvals required for payroll processing
• Partnering with the HR team and Finance for payroll review, approval and other queries
• Work in partnership with the People teams to ensure smooth running of payrolls
• Working with external payroll providers on the processing of the monthly payroll
• Work alongside the Global Payroll Manager on any payroll related audits, reviews and/ or any special payroll related projects
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation changes and ensure compliance across all payroll locations

Experience Required

• Experience with running Apac (India) payrolls from end to end
• Experience of Workday, Cloud Pay
• Experience with using outsourced providers
• Sound knowledge of relevant payroll legislation
• Willingness and ability to learn other payroll legislation in applicable region
• Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
