An Anesthesia Technician prepares anesthesia equipment, medicines, instruments, and supplies and assists anesthesiologists during procedures while ensuring equipment readiness and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare anesthesia machines and related equipment before procedures.
• Check breathing circuits, oxygen supplies, monitors, and accessories.
• Prepare required anesthesia instruments and consumables.
• Check availability and expiry of anesthesia medicines and supplies.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning.
• Maintain and clean anesthesia equipment according to approved procedures.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions.
• Ensure emergency airway and resuscitation equipment is readily available.
• Maintain anesthesia-related records as assigned.
• Coordinate with OT nurses, surgeons, CSSD, and biomedical engineering.
• Assist with emergency procedures when required.
