Job summary

HALPi Square Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Android Framework Developer with strong HAL expertise to drive low-level integration across Android components and hardware interfaces.

You will develop and debug framework services, work on HAL integration, and participate in AOSP builds. Proficiency in C/C++ and Java, plus experience with AIDL/HIDL and IPC, is required for effective system collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Android Framework or Platform development.
• Deep understanding of Android OS architecture and services.
• Hands-on HAL development and integration experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Java.
• Experience with AIDL/HIDL and Binder IPC.
• Experience with AOSP source and platform builds.
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals, device drivers, kernel interactions.
• Experience with Android debugging tools (ADB, Logcat, GDB).

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Android Framework components and services.
• Work on Android HAL development, integration, and debugging.
• Understand Android OS architecture across Framework, Native Libraries, HAL, and Linux kernel.
• Develop and debug system-level components using C/C++ and Java.
• Work with AIDL/HIDL interfaces for communication between Android Framework and HAL.
