Job summary

TheCodingShef in Ahmedabad is seeking a motivated Android BSP Engineer fresher to join our engineering team. You will work on BSP components for Android-based hardware, using C/C++ and Java/Kotlin to support kernel, drivers, and HALs.

Under senior guidance, you will assist in build, flashing, bring-up, debugging with logs, adb/fastboot, and testing. You should have solid foundations in OS concepts, data structures, and good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining BSP components for Android-based hardware.
• Work with C/C++, Java/Kotlin and Linux for kernel, driver, and platform tasks.
• Understand hardware–software interactions, basic drivers, and HALs.
• Support Android build, flashing, and bring-up activities under guidance.
• Debug issues using logs, adb/fastboot, and systematic troubleshooting.
• Perform unit/integration testing and basic root-cause analysis.
