Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. You will lead Android app development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, applying MVVM/MVP patterns and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

You will stay current with Android trends, debug complex issues, and ensure robust performance and security across apps, while contributing to API testing and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/related field.
• At least 6 years of professional app development experience.
• Proficiency in native Android development with a strong app portfolio.
• Strong Kotlin skills and mandatory Jetpack Compose experience.
• Familiarity with DI (Dagger 2 or Hilt).
• RxJava knowledge for async programming.
• Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in app development.
• Proficiency in Native Android development with a strong portfolio of apps.
• Strong Kotlin programming skills and mandatory experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger 2 or Hilt.
• Working knowledge of RxJava for asynchronous programming.

Preferred Skills
