Job summary

Noventiq India, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Native Android Developer to design and build advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

You will contribute to the full mobile development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features in a fast-paced environment. You will work on optimizing performance, adhering to Material Design guidelines, integrating REST APIs, and maintaining existing codebases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2-4 years of Android developer experience with published apps.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, with working knowledge of Java.
• Solid experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and tools.
• Familiarity with architecture components: ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager.
• Experience with MVVM or MVP patterns.
• Proficient in consuming RESTful APIs using Retrofit or OkHttp.
• Experience with DI frameworks such as Dagger 2 or Hilt.
• Familiarity with reactive programming using RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines/Flows.
• Proficient in Git versioning.
• Experience with unit testing/instrumented testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
• Good memory management, threading, and performance optimization in Android.

Responsibilities

• Familiaritywith Android architecture components: ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager.
• Experiencewith MVVM or MVP architectural patterns.
• Proficientin consuming RESTful APIs using Retrofit or OkHttp.
• Experiencewith dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger 2 or Hilt.
• Familiaritywith reactive programming using RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.
• Proficientunderstanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
• Experiencewith unit testing and instrumented testing using JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.
• Goodunderstanding of memory management, threading, and performance optimisation inAndroid.
