Job summary

NeST Digital in Bengaluru is seeking an Analytics Specialist- Procurement and IT to drive reporting and analytics for Procurement and IT, building Power BI reports and data models to meet business needs.

You will transform data from flatfiles, XLSX and other sources with Python, design intuitive dashboards with strong storytelling, and advise on UI/UX to empower stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years in Power BI dashboard creation and data visualization in Fabrics environment.
• 2+ years using Python & SQL.

Job title :Analytics Specialist- Procurement and IT

(within Performance and Program Management)

Purpose Of The Job

The global startup Analytics and performance management team is looking for a motivated Analytics Specialist- Procurement and IT who will be responsible for meeting the reporting and analytics needs of Procurement and IT business functions through development of Power BI reports and data models. The specialist should be able to develop intiutitve dashboards with good data storytelling and develop reports that users can use to read and retain information.

The specialist should also be able to recommend good UI/UX designs and will support team by developing Advanced Power BI reports essential for performance management by using DAX and Power Query wherever necessary. The specialist should be able to get data via flatfiles, XLSX and other data sources and perform data transformation using Python to help the team effectively create standard reporting solutions.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Work Experience

Minimum of 6 years professional experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI dashboard creation and data visualization, Data Modelling, Fabrics environment.

Minimum of 2 years of experience using Python & SQL.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling within Power BI and Fabrics
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and user experience design principles
• Working knowledge of UI/UX design to be able to implement interactive dashboards
• Should be able to form good narrative (story telling) using their visualization capabilities
• Strong understanding of Procurement and IT processes
• Intermediate skills in SQL & Python for data manipulation and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal business partners to meet organizational capacity needs
