Job summary

Kohler is seeking an experienced Power BI and data engineering professional in Pune to design and maintain dashboards, data models, and automated workflows. The role emphasizes governance, performance, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will lead procurement automation initiatives, coordinate with junior analysts, and ensure data quality across enterprise systems, including SharePoint and SAP APIs. A strong background in SQL/Azure Synapse is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, Power Automate
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Azure Synapse, and cloud data architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Developing structured plans for procurement automation projects
  • Ability to ensure data quality, execute data strategies, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Experience in managing small teams or projects & lead them end to end.
  • Ability to guide junior analysts and coordinate with procurement teams
  • Skill in analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Identifying inefficiencies and proposing structured solutions and drive projects.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and business needs.
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive, results oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on performance and usability.

  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric components like Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks for scalable data engineering.

Experience requirement:
  • Must-Have’s 8-10 Years of experience in the technologies below
    • Power BI Development:
      • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on performance and usability.

      • Monitor and troubleshoot automation failures.
    • Documentation & Governance:
      • Prepare runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation for all solutions.
      • Ensure compliance with naming conventions and version control.
    • Power App Developments :
      • Design, develop, and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
      • Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
      • Build and automate business processes using Power Automate workflows.
      • Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, SAP APIs, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
      • Create user-friendly forms, dashboards, and request portals to improve business efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
