Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai is seeking an Analyst – VMI to support inventory control and financial reconciliation. You will handle vendor-managed inventory processes, create sales orders and purchase orders, and ensure accuracy across systems.

The role requires 0–2 years in GL/Intercompany/AR/AP, strong accounting knowledge, and solid Excel/ERP skills. It offers a path to growth within a collaborative finance team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years' experience in GL, intercompany, AR or AP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Willingness to work in a complex environment with strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory at a 3rd party hub location remotely with regular reconciliation and tracking.
• Create SOs and POs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Reduce inventory ageing.
• Report Sales & Inventory on a weekly basis.
• Reconcile sub‑module vs trial balance.

Job Summary

Typical day

• Managing of inventory located at 3rd party hub location remotely through regular reconciliation and tracking.
• Creation of SO’s and PO’s.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Reduce inventory ageing
• Reporting of Sales & Inventory on weekly basis
• Reconciliation of sub-module vs trial balance.

Job Requirements

• Should have good analytical ability
• Should be strong in the Number Crunching
• One or two years of Experience in the GL or Intercompany Activity or AR or AP
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written & oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and use of email software.
• Good presentation skills and teamwork.

Experience & Education

• 0-2 yrs exp - Bcom / BBA(Finance) / MCom / MBA(Finance).
• Good understanding on MS applications (Basic level).
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good written/oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Good analytical skills and should be a team player.
• Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of financial statements is must.
• Should inculcate ability in doing teamwork.
