Job summary

Flex in Chennai is hiring a Specialist – Intercompany to manage AP/AR and intercompany accounting, ensuring accurate MEC and SOA reconciliations. The role involves collaborating with site stakeholders and driving process improvements to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in Finance & Accounting, with 4+ years in IC processes in a BPO setting, and hold B.Com/BBA/M.Com/MBA in Finance. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• B.Com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance) degree.
• 4–6 years in Finance & Accounting, 4+ years in F&A processes in BPO.
• Hands-on IC function with strong accounting knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

Specialist – Intercompany located in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

• Supporting accounts payable & Accounts receivable process
• Performing MEC Reconciliation & SOA reconciliation as per standard process
• Handling Escalations from all stake holders and sharing the art of learning to team members.
• Monthly Meeting with Stakeholders to share the Business Metrics and understand the expectation from the site customers.
• Help & Drive team on all the KPI’s metrics, AP/AR Aging,
• Contribute to the process by providing ideas, finding out the opportunities to eliminate nonvalue activities for process improvement.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• B.com / BBA(Finance) / M.Com / MBA(Finance).
• Good understanding on MS applications (Basic level).
• Candidates with 4 - 6 years of experience in Finance & Accounting field out of which minimum of 4+ year’s exposure in Finance & Accounting processes in BPO industry
• Hands on experience in IC function with a strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to operate independently and work toward goals and deliverables with little day to day supervision.
• Ability to manage processes and projects, implementing continuous improvements.
