Job summary

UPL in India is seeking an experienced MDM specialist to oversee vendor data governance, ensure data quality, and drive SAP-based data management across vendor master data. You will coordinate with external teams for implementations and maintain data integrity within SAP Vendor Master structures.

The role requires strong collaboration with IT and business stakeholders, with a willingness to extend hours to meet SLAs and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and ERP tools such as SAP or SAP HANA.
• Experience with vendor data governance and data quality checks.
• Familiarity with helpdesk tools like ServiceNow preferred.
• Ability to create/update supplier records using Vendor Management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDM processes for creation, maintenance and quality of Vendor master and reference data.
• Own data requirements for implementation and turnovers to external teams.
• Create/Update supplier records using the Vendor Management tool.
• Support business by understanding requirements and working beyond regular hours as needed.
• Ensure data consistency and SAP Vendor Master data structures.

Job description

Experience in Master data Management and ERP tools SAP or SAP HANA, ARIBA, IVALUA

• Practical experience with a Helpdesk software such as ServiceNow is preferred.
• Highlight lesson learned on frequent issues, Support regular Master Data Health Check & Audit Trail

validation.

• Leading Master data management processes related to the creation, maintenance, and quality of Vendor master and reference data.
• Owning the data requirements for the implementation and turnovers to external teams.
• Create/Update supplier records using the Vendor Management tool.
• Work as per the tasks and role assigned; has to understand business exigency and support business by working for extended hours.
• Ensuring consistent Data & Data structure within SAP of Vendor Master.
• Preparation of various MDM MIS and DASHBOARD on daily/weekly basis.
• Adhere to the timeline as per defined SLA for respective activities.
