Responsibilities

• Extend new material codes in various depots with HSN code.
• Handle SAP MDO tool to create new Code VERP, ROH, HAWA.
• Perform workflow testing for material creation and changes.
• Check material availability and stock transfers.
• Provide training to end users about material activities.
• Prepare MDM MIS and dashboards on a daily/weekly basis.
• Adhere to defined SLA timelines for respective activities.

Overview

The Material Master Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining high-quality material master data within SAP HANA. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across supply chain, procurement, finance, and production functions. The analyst plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency, product lifecycle management, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Extend new material codes in various depots with HSN code, shipping point, planned price, and standard cost for materials in depots/plants across India.


• Handle SAP MDO tool to create new Code VERP, ROH, HAWA.


• Work with ServiceNow ticketing tool and MDO tools, and perform workflow testing for material creation, extension, and change.


• Material Master changes, material availability checks in the system, material stock checking and stock transfers.


• Material transferred by MIGO.


• Provide training to end users about material activities such as creation, change, and extension.


• Provide production data to create master data, BOM, routing, and work center through BDC reports.


• Work according to assigned tasks and roles, understand business needs, and support the business by working extended hours as required.


• Prepare MDM MIS and dashboards on a daily/weekly basis.


• Adhere to defined SLA timelines for respective activities.


• Required: SAP ECC/HANA experience.
