Job summary

Xylem is seeking a procurement professional in Vadodara to support compliance, HS classification, contract management and cross-functional coordination across global teams. The role emphasizes market analysis, risk assessment, and data-driven decision making to improve supply chain performance.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background with 3–6 years of experience in supply chain, import/export, and related execution methods. ERP proficiency and advanced Excel are advantageous.

Part 2. Describe the Person Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience)

• 4-Year bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering 3 to 6 years’ experience in supply chain, Import/export and Execution methodologies in mechanical categories OR 4-Year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering 2-Year Master Degree in Mechanical engineering/Production Engineering 1 to 4 years’ experience in supply chain, Import/export and Execution methodologies in mechanical categories

Key technical skills and knowledge.

• Basic knowledge of various manufacturing process like casting, Fabrication, injection molding etc.
• Understanding on tariff determination & HS classification governance
• Understanding on Import & Export compliance regulations
• Ability to identify material used, manufacturing process, etc.
• Sound problem-solving and data analytical skills.
• System Knowledge : ERP systems & its application
• Advanced Excel ( Pivot Tables, Power query etc.)
• Proficiency in Creo a plus
• Project / Program Management skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively man age tasks/priorities.
• Effective communication in English is must.
• Microsoft office package - Excel and PowerPoint. - Experienced user.
