Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, mechanical/chemical engineering, sustainability, environmental science or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), EPD development or product sustainability analysis.
  • Experience using LCA software such as SimaPro (preferred) or One Click LCA.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.”

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive life cycle assessments for products and processes, including data collection, modeling, and analysis.
  • Manage LCA data accuracy, updates, and database revisions.
  • Collaborate with product teams and sustainability experts to integrate LCA requirements into development.
  • Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Life Cycle Assessment:Conduct comprehensive life cycle assessments (LCA) for products and processes, including data collection, modeling, and analysis.
  • Data Management:Ensure all LCA data is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. Regularly update LCA databases with new data and revisions.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with product development teams, sustainability experts, and other stakeholders to understand LCA requirements and integrate them into the product development process.
  • Quality Assurance:Conduct regular audits of LCA data and reports to ensure data integrity and consistency. Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation for LCA processes, including usage guidelines and best practices.
  • Tool Proficiency:Utilize and manage LCA software tools (e.g., SimaPro or One Click LCA) for conducting assessments and managing data.
  • Training and Support:Provide training and support to team members on LCA methodologies, data collection, and software tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), EPD development or product sustainability analysis.
  • Experience using LCA software such as SimaPro (preferred) or One Click LCA tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Must-Have Competencies
Sustainability & LCA
  • Strong understanding of ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards.
  • Knowledge of EN 15804, ISO 14025, ISO 21930, and EPD development requirements.
  • Experience performing environmental impact assessments and interpreting results.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, product life cycles and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
AI & Digital Skills
  • Hands‑on experience with Generative AI platforms.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement agentic AI applications and intelligent AI agents.
  • Ability to effectively use AI to improve data analysis, reporting, documentation and workflow efficiency.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and product information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Power Automate, or Power Apps.
  • Experience integrating sustainability data with ERP/SAP systems and other engineering platform.
  • Familiarity with water technologies, industrial equipment, pumps, or manufacturing industries.
Good to Have Competencies
  • Knowledge of product design and development.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry process.
  • Adaptability to work with different work cultures and time zones.
