Job summary

Northern Trust is hiring a Software Support Analyst for its Pune office. You will support multiple web applications, collaborating with development teams and business users to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will apply basic programming to scripts, maintain tests, assist in disaster recovery, and contribute to knowledge sharing while growing in a cross-functional fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with software development or support.
• Knowledge of SDLC and working with microservices and API.
• Basic UI development understanding and disaster recovery concepts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Software Support Analyst, you will:

• Partner with the development team, business support, end users, and other IT personnel to support and implement end to end solutions.
• Use basic programming knowledge to create or modify scripts and programs.
• Constantly looks for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution by not being afraid of challenging the status quo.
• Mentor and coach others on the team.
• Support existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources
• Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks
• Create and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in DR Testing
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to understand the application that is being transferred to support.
