Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Mumbai is seeking detail-oriented insurance professionals to join the Placement & Billing team. You will work closely with brokers, clients, and reinsurers on placement, documentation, endorsements, and billing across global markets.

The role offers exposure to international markets, collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and opportunities for professional growth within a globally recognized reinsurance broker.

Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance, Reinsurance, Placement Support, Account Handling, Policy Administration, Billing, or Broking Operations.
• Understanding of insurance/reinsurance placement processes, policy documentation, endorsements, and renewals.
• Experience working with brokers, underwriters, insurers, or reinsurers.
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end placement process for reinsurance business.
• Review and process placement documentation, endorsements, evidence of cover, debit notes, and renewal transactions.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Facilitate premium and billing transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Review contract documentation and ensure servicing activities are completed within agreed timelines.
• Support renewal cycles, client servicing, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting across various systems and platforms.
