Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) in India is seeking a Broker Support professional to manage a UK book of business, oversee end-to-end renewal processes, and advise on carrier selections.

You will work with onshore stakeholders, review client exposures, and produce management information to drive efficiency. Strong insurance knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of insurance concepts and policy lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with renewal processes.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Domain certification (AINS, Cert II, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage UK book of business.
• Placement of insurance for clients in accordance with the SME business strategy.
• End-to-end broking activities for a segment of clients.
• Identify in-scope policies and initiate renewal.
• Review client exposures and decide on remarketing or renewal.
• Conduct re-market exercises by comparing cover, claims, endorsements, and premium.
• Make carrier selections and provide recommendations.
• Highlight differences between expiring and renewal coverage to clients.
• Produce renewal documentation upon client authorization to bind and ensure compliance.
• Provide MI and analyze trends to drive efficiencies.
• Lead weekly meetings with onshore stakeholders.

How you'll make an impact

• Manage UK book of business.
• Placement of insurance for clients in accordance with the SME business strategy.
• Involved in end-to-end broking related activities for a segment of clients.
• Proactively identify in-scope policies and initiate the renewal process.
• Review client exposures for major coverage gaps and determine whether to remarket or renew with the incumbent based on predefined rules.
• Carry out re-market exercises where necessary by comparing cover, claims, endorsements, and premium.
• Make carrier selection and provide recommendations.
• Compare expiring and renewal coverage and highlight any significant differences to clients.
• Issue final renewal documentation upon client authorization to bind while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Produce relevant MI and analyze trends to drive efficiencies.
• Lead weekly meetings and ad-hoc discussions with onshore stakeholders.

About you

Qualifications:

• Broad understanding of insurance concepts and policy lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on experience working across various stages of the renewal process.
• Preferred domain certification.

  • End-to-end policy lifecycle knowledge.
  • Kaizen contribution of 3 or more in the last year.
  • Domain Certification (AINS, Cert II, or equivalent).
