Job summary

Credit Saison India invites applications for an Analyst (ECL and Portfolio Risk) to manage monthly IFRS 9 expected credit losses using our models, provide insights for management, and support portfolio risk assessment in Bengaluru.

You will work with large data sets, apply R or Python, develop projections for loss estimates, monitor portfolio quality, and update management on macroeconomic factors affecting performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IFRS 9, credit risk, portfolio risk, data analysis
• Master’s degree in a quantitative/risk/finance discipline from a Tier I college
• Proficiency in R and Python
• Experience handling large data sets and data analysis workflow

Responsibilities

• Managing and implementing monthly IFRS 9 ECL production using Credit Saison India’s models
• Analyzing shifts in credit quality, growth, product mix, and delinquency rates impacting performance
• Develop models for projecting portfolio performance used for loss estimates, portfolio monitoring and budgeting
• Prepare portfolio risk analysis for senior management review
• Update the team on key macroeconomic factor updates

Job Description

• Managing and implementing the ongoing monthly production of IFRS 9 expected credit losses using Credit Saison India’s models, whilst providing insight and analytical commentary to allow Credit Saison India senior management to make complex considerations and a high level of management judgement on the expected credit loss calculations
• Analyzing shifts in credit quality, growth, product mix, and delinquency rates that has impact on the company's performance
• Develop models for projecting portfolio performances used for deriving loss estimates, portfolio monitoring and budgeting purposes
• Help prepare analysis on portfolio risk for Senior management review
• Update the team on key updates in macroeconomic factors

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in relevant field (IFRS 9, Credit Risk, portfolio risk, data analysis)
• Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative/risk/finance discipline from Tier I college
• Proficiency of R/Python
• Mandatory Knowledge of Data analysis on large data sets
