Job summary

Flex is seeking an Analyst – GBS Master Data Management in Chennai, India, to support vendor master records and pricing resolutions. You will analyze data, generate reports, and maintain vendor setup, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (BBA/B.Com/B.Sc.), ERP familiarity (BAAN, SAP or Oracle) and strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with BAAN, SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Exposure to voice process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactional interactions with suppliers.
• Resolve pricing and other commercial TCs with suppliers and buyers.
• Provide reports, information, analysis etc., as required, in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain good level of public relations with outside suppliers as well as a strong partnership with internal customers
• Maintain the Vendor Master Records/Updates/New Vendor Setup
• Advise stakeholders of modifications from original requests
• Obtain price and other non-pricing information from approved suppliers

The Analyst – GBS Master Data Management performs analysis, provide reports, information to create and maintain vendor master records and updates vendor setup. Additionally, work with suppliers and buyer groups to resolve Pricing.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage transactional interactions with suppliers.
• Work with suppliers and buyer groups to resolve Pricing and other commercial T&Cs
• Provide reports, information, analysis etc., as required, in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain good level of public relations with outside suppliers as well as a strong partnership with internal customers
• Maintain the Vendor Master Records/Updates/New Vendor Setup
• Advise stakeholders of modifications from original requests
• Obtain price and other non-pricing information from approved suppliers

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree – B.B.A / B.Com / B.Sc.
• Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle
• Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN) preferred
• Exposure to voice process will be highly preferred
• Flexible to work in all shifts
