Job summary

Flex is seeking an Analyst – GBS Procurement in Coimbatore, India. The role involves managing C class item procurement, executing the end-to-end purchasing cycle, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery and payment. A Diploma or B.Com/ B.B.A/ B.Sc / MBA is expected, with 0–2 years in procurement or supply chain being not mandatory.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. The position offers health insurance and PTO as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Com/BBA/B.Sc/MBA required.
• 0–2 years in Procurement/Supply Chain (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Manage C class items procurement activities.
• End-to-end purchasing cycle: PR to PO, sending PO to suppliers, PO confirmation.
• Delivery follow up and supplier payment coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors for actual delivery status of material.
• On-time completion of Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for review.
• Work on pull-in, push-out & cancellation per the MRP report and KPI targets.
• Maintain inventory to optimum level as per site requirement.
• Coordinate with internal business partner and supplier for PO changes.
• Manage supplier database.
• Escalation management for shortage/excess.
• Coordinate urgent receipts and resolve receiving challenges.

We’re looking to add a Analyst – GBS Procurement in Coimbatore India.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible to manage C class items procurement activities
• E2E Purchasing Cycle which included PR to PO, sending PO to suppliers, PO Confirmation
• Delivery follow up and supplier payment coordination.
• Coordination with vendors for actual delivery status of material.
• On Time completion of Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for Review.
• Working on Pull in, push out & Cancellation as per the MRP report and achieving the KPI Targets.
• Maintain Inventory to optimum level as per site requirement.
• Coordinate with Internal Business Partner (requestor) and supplier for Purchase Order Changes.
• Managing Supplier database.
• Should include Shortage / excess escalation management
• Co-ordinate and follow through on urgent receive, past dues Management and resolving receiving challenges.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Education: Diploma or B.com/ B.B.A/ B.Sc /MBA.
• Experience: 0 to 2 Year (Procurement / Supply Chain) (Not mandatory)
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (Required)
