Job summary

Flex is seeking an Analyst – Logistics to join our Pune, India team. The role focuses on processing purchase orders and supporting transportation rate management in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to meet performance targets and maintain rate databases across air, ocean and express modes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years in supply chain or logistics, with proficiency in BAAN, SAP or Oracle, and strong MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 0–2 years logistics experience.
• ERP/P2P systems (BAAN, SAP, Oracle).
• MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure ad hoc rates to support solution requirements – air/ocean/express.
• Manage rate validity & variable rates.
• Maintain transportation analysis & decision support systems (Rate Benchmarks).
• Prepare Monthly Site Metrics & Logistics Savings Plans reporting.
• Develop rate databases & datasets.
• Maintain Global Transportation Rates with suppliers.
• Contract Management.

The Analyst - GBS Logistics should quickly and accurately process purchase orders in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, should have excellent stake holders service skills and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets.

What a typical day looks like:

• Procure ad hoc rates to support solution requirements - air / ocean / express
• Managing the rate validity & variable rates
• Manage and maintain the transportation analysis and decision support systems Transportation Rate Benchmarks
• Monthly Site Metrics and Logistics Savings Plans Reporting
• Develop rate databases
• Maintain Global Transportation Rates with suppliers
• Contract Management

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: 0 to 2 years+ of supply chain / Logistics experience
• Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle
• Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF).
• Excellent communication skills
