Job summary

FIS is seeking a Vulnerability Management and Patching specialist to strengthen security posture by identifying vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation, and supporting patch deployment across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments. You will collaborate with system owners and application teams to drive timely remediation and maintain visibility through dashboards.

You will administer IBM BigFix, develop fixlets and baselines, and generate compliant reporting for audits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and management using Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar tools.
• Experience administering IBM BigFix and managing enterprise patch deployments.
• Practical knowledge of vulnerability remediation for Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience deploying operating system and third-party patches across Windows, Linux, and/or macOS environments.
• Ability to analyze vulnerability findings, understand risk and prioritize remediation activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure, application, and system-owner teams.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.

• Schedule and deploy operating system and third-party patches across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

• Monitor patch deployment successes and failures and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Generate compliance reports and dashboards to support internal reporting and audit requirements.

About the role

As a member of the Vulnerability Management and Patching team , you will help strengthen the organization’s security posture by identifying vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation, and supporting effective patch management across the technology environment. • Exposure to multiple vulnerability management platforms, particularly Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.
• Experience preparing security, vulnerability, patching, and compliance dashboards for internal stakeholders or audits.
• Experience supporting vulnerability and patch management across a mixed Windows, Linux, and macOS environment.
