FIS is seeking a senior Dotnet developer in Pune to join an international team working on the Enterprise Suite, a high-volume cloud-enabled valuation and risk engine. You will primarily develop in C# with some C++, focusing on RESTful services and microservices.

The role requires 9–14 years of software development experience, strong .NET expertise, and a passion for high-performance, quality code. Hybrid work culture and global collaboration are key aspects of the role.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

About the role

You will be working with an international team, primarily responsible for FIS Enterprise Suite (a high volume and high-performance cloud-enabled valuation and risk calculation engine) but will also work on other related components. Active development is in C# with small amount of C++ code.

Your key responsibilities

This position is in a development team to:

• Analyze and resolve issues on an industry leading Credit and Market Risk system.


• Design, develop, test, and maintain services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET.


• Own features from technical design through implementation, deployment, and production support.


• Contribute to microservices design, including service boundaries, communication patterns, resilience, and data consistency.


• Investigate and resolve application, performance, and integration issues across components.


• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and improve code quality and maintainability.


• Lead and mentor team members and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.


• Interact with clients, client services, development and product managers and provide fast resolution of critical problems.

What you bring

Required qualifications

• 9 to 14 years of professional software development experience.


• Strong hands‑on experience with C# and depth of understanding of .NET.


• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.


• Strong understanding of low‑level and high‑level design patterns.


• Experience/ good knowledge of relational databases like MSSQL and Postgres.


• Experience with Microservices or Event driven systems or distributed systems.


• Exposure to testing, security scans and CI/CD.


• A passion for solving complex problems with high performance and a high-quality code.


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail


• Ability to understand product functionality and translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to work with multiple teams (global teams)

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Redis/RabbitMQ/Apache kafka/docker/Kubernetes/AWS.


• Exposure to Agentic development.


• Worked in financial sector.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in computer engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech)


• Master’s degree in computer applications (MCA).


• Graduate from any discipline with solid experience in computer engineering.
