Job summary

Nuveen is seeking a Senior Analyst in Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessment in Pune, India, to assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and protecting data, information systems and networks. The role supports in identifying intrusion paths and advising corrective actions.

Under supervision, youll analyze threats, contribute to risk assessments, and help design countermeasures and tools for cyber operations. University degree required; sedentary work.

Job description

Senior Analyst - Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessment - IN

The Information Security Vulnerability Assessment Analyst job participates in conducting vulnerability assessments to protect the company's data, information systems and networks. Under close supervision, this job participates in analyses to make corrective actions and to check the intrusion paths that exist within the current systems. This job also contributes in analyzing threats or hidden events within the enterprise network.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Assists in performing vulnerability assessments to test existing network safeguards, and employs computer network defense tools and approved practices to protect networks to ensure data security. Contributes in analyzing causes and exploitation methods of malicious activities, along with checking the effects on information technology (IT) systems and information. Assists in identifying intrusion or incident path and method for incidents found via vulnerability analysis. Helps making recommendations for vulnerability corrections within reports outlining past network security incidents. Assists in analyzing software systems to determine both functionality and intent of software systems. Participates in the design and development of countermeasures, system integration, and tools specific to cyber and information Operations.
