Job summary

Ford Motor Company in India seeks an experienced logistics professional to manage customs clearance, inland transport, and import/export consignments by air and sea.

You will coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders; handle EXIM activities, licenses, and duty exemptions under schemes, and liaise with government officials to ensure compliant operations.

This role focuses on cost-effective project initiatives and ongoing regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Customs clearance and inland transportation for import/export consignments by air and sea.
• Coordinate with customs broker, shipping lines, and freight forwarders for import/export shipments.
• Handle EXIM activities and import of capital goods under duty-free schemes; issue licenses with government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with customs notifications, FTAs, and related incentives; liaise with senior government officials.
• Initiate cost-effective project improvements.

Job Description:

Responsible for Customs Clearance & Inland transportation /delivery of and all Import & Export Consignment. by Air & Sea from various ports in India.

Regular Coordination with Customs Broker / shipping line /Freight forwarder for import/ Export shipments

EXIM activities & import of capital goods under various duty-free schemes & issuance of Licenses under various import/export promotion schemes in coordination with various government agencies. Overall, responsible for various export / import / logistics and licensing activities.

Customs Clearance, EPCG License, Project Import license, Customs, Duty Drawback, various Exports Incentives etc., under Concessional Imports Duty Exemption under various customs notification and FTA, compliance of all customs matters.

Maintaining Liaising with Sr. Govt. Official.

Initiate for various Cost-effective project.
