Job summary

The Apex Group is hiring an Associate to support book-keeping and financial reporting across IFRS and US GAAP. The role involves data collection, bank transaction analysis, and processing using accounting platforms and Excel.

You will assist with AP/AR reconciliations, inter-company activity, and finalization of trial balance. Candidates should have CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, plus 0–5 years in accounting.

Qualifications

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Understanding of accruals, FAR, Revaluations, and cash movements.
• Reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions) and assist with TB finalization.
• Prepare and report periodic management accounts across IFRS/US GAAP.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely - P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
