Job summary

Apex Group, established in Bermuda in 2003, is a global fund administration provider. The Senior Associate role in India handles data for book-keeping, bank transaction analysis, invoices and expenses, and preparation of periodic statements under IFRS/US GAAP.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP
• Payroll, VAT/GST knowledge

Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing/reviewing on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing/review of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & review of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
