Job summary

Apraava Energy is seeking an experienced engineer to lead IT/OT deployment for AMI projects in India. The role focuses on implementing IT/OT activities, ensuring Go Live readiness, and coordinating with System Integrators and DISCOMs to integrate legacy systems.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, with exposure to energy distribution utilities and AMI/AMR projects considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Energy Distribution Utilities and AMI/AMR projects advantageous.
• 8+ years of experience in relevant roles.
• Experience in IT/OT deployment for AMI projects.

Responsibilities

• Support IT/OT deployment of AMI projects during implementation and O&M phases.
• Provide technical support to Site Managers.
• Ensure IT infrastructure readiness for Go Live of AMI projects.
• Review IT/OT design documents submitted by System Integrator and obtain DISCOM approval.
• Coordinate with System Integrator to resolve IT SLA gaps and ensure production readiness.
• Engage in client management activities and coordinate state-level initiatives for AMI deployment.
• Coordinate with DISCOM agencies for integration of legacy systems.

Accountabilities:

Major Activities

• Support IT/OT deployment of AMI projects during implementation and O&M phases. Provide technical support to Site Managers.
• Responsible for implementation of all IT & OT related activities for successful Go Live of AMI projects.
• Development of WFM App, Consumer App, Web Portal with System Integrator in line with operational needs.
• Review and Finalization of AMI design documents submitted by System Integrator and ensure DISCOM approval.
• Responsible for timely availability of IT Infra with required sizing and performance for AMI applications production and successful Go Live.
• Day to day monitoring and coordination with System Integrator for resolution of IT related SLA gaps.
• Client management activities and conducting state level initiatives for successful implementation of AMI Project.
• Coordination with DISCOM agencies for integration of legacy systems.
