Job summary

Infosys seeks an experienced professional to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, integration, and support of Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) capabilities for electric utility operations. You will serve as SME across SCADA, DMS, OMS, GIS, and EMS, ensuring interoperable workflows and reliable grid performance.

You will define functional and technical requirements, drive integration design, and coordinate testing and go-live activities while guiding cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end ADMS design and integration for electric utilities.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, DMS, OMS, GIS, and EMS workflows.
• Ability to define functional/technical requirements and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, integration, and support of ADMS capabilities aligned to electric utility operational needs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert across SCADA, DMS, OMS, GIS, and EMS workflows, ensuring consistent operational processes and system interoperability.
• Define functional and technical requirements, use cases, and operating procedures for real-time distribution operations and control room functions.
• Drive integration design between ADMS and upstream/downstream systems (SCADA/EMS, OMS, GIS), including data models, interfaces, and event/telemetry flows.
• Ensure grid reliability and operational efficiency by optimizing alarms, events, switching, tagging, and outage/restoration processes across platforms.
• Lead system configuration, validation, and commissioning activities; support go-live readiness, cutover planning, and hypercare stabilization.
• Coordinate testing strategy and execution (SIT/UAT), including scenario-based operational testing for outages, switching, and abnormal grid conditions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, manage change requests, and ensure solutions align with digital transformation roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high‑quality outcomes on schedule.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Strong functional and integration experience across DMS, OMS, and GIS, including alignment of network model, outage model, and operational processes.
• Experience designing and implementing ADMS integrations, including interface specifications, data mapping, and operational validation of end‑to‑end flows.
• Demonstrated leadership as an SME/lead on utility transformation programs focused on reliability, efficiency, and modernization outcomes.
• Expertise in operational testing methodologies, scenario design, and control‑room readiness for ADMS/SCADA/OMS deployments.
• Ability to define and improve KPIs and operational performance measures (e.g., restoration efficiency, alarm quality, situational awareness).
• Experience working with vendor platforms and coordinating multi‑team delivery across IT/OT boundaries.
• Integration architecture, API/Web services, Data modeling, SQL, ITIL/Incident management.
