Job summary

Apraava Energy in India seeks an Engineering Graduate to lead the AMI Supply Chain, covering Smart Meters, Network Operations & Monitoring Center, and Billing Kiosks. You will plan, forecast, source, and monitor stock while coordinating OEM invoicing and compliance across ERP systems.

You will drive inventory optimization, collaborate with testing labs and suppliers, and manage tender inputs with timely issue resolution to support installation needs.

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate with 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or operations.
• Experience in AMI/energy distribution utilities is an added advantage.
• Exposure to ERP stock reconciliations and vendor invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AMI Supply Chain including Smart Meters, Network Operations & Monitoring Center, and Billing Kiosks.
• Plan, forecast, and execute smart meter supply from planning to delivery and operation.
• Maintain stock MIS and reconciliation; set guidelines for optimal inventory levels.
• Review supplier documents and ensure compliance; handle orders and escalations.
• Process OEM invoices timely; ensure process compliance and audit readiness.
• Monitor stock status in real time against installations; coordinate testing and lab work.
• Review tender inputs and responses; issue LoAs to meter suppliers; address red flags.

Accountabilities:

Overall responsibility for AMI Supply Chain including Smart Meters, Network Operations & Monitoring Center, Billing Kiosks, Forecasting, Testing, Warranty management, stock reconciliations in ERP, vendor PO / invoices processing etc.

• Strategic planning & execution of smart meter supply from the Planning, forecasting stage till delivery and its Operation including accessories (Clamps, Modules, CMRI and Mobile application).
• Stock/Meter MIS and Meter reconciliation, Set guidelines for optimal inventory levels.
• Technical review of the Meter supplier documents compliance to the client and submission to the Clients for their approvals, handle diverse customer orders and resolve any significant complaints or escalations.
• Timely OEMs Invoice processing.
• Process Compliance and Audit Management.
• Real-time monitoring of the stock status wrt to the installation/utilization.
• Coordination of different Meter testing, factory inspection, NABL Lab, DISCOM Lab, Consumer premises etc.
• Review and inputs in the Meter tender document, the response to the Pre-Bid queries and Technical evaluation of the tender Bids. Issuance of LoAs to the Meter suppliers.
• Red Flagging issues before reported by State/DISCOM and timely resolution of the red flags.
