Job summary

Selective Global Search in Gurgaon is seeking an AM Purchase (Packing) with at least 8 years of experience in pharma packaging procurement for tablets and capsules. The role focuses on strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations to secure quality materials.

The position requires coordination with Production, QA, Stores and Planning to ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal inventory levels. Located in Gurgaon office, it offers exposure to a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least 8 years of purchasing Packaging Material for Tablets and Capsules (OSD) in a Pharmaceutical Company.

Responsibilities

• Handle PR-to-PO process, vendor negotiations, quotations and commercial finalization.
• Develop and manage vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, QA and Planning teams for material requirements.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and quality issues.
• Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing and effective rate negotiations.
• Maintain purchase MIS, vendor records and procurement documentation.
