Job summary

Emcure in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a Manager / Assistant Manager for the Packaging Development department. The role requires 4–10 years core packaging development experience and a BSc/Pharm with PG Dipl/ MSc/ BE in Packaging Technology. Full-time.

You will develop packaging systems, select materials, coordinate artwork, ensure regulatory compliance (EMA, MHRA, Health Canada, ANVISA, ROW) and collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, PPIC, SCM, TT and production.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical packaging materials knowledge.
• Regulatory knowledge for US/EU/Canada/ROW markets.
• Artwork management systems (AMS).
• SAP, TrackWise or equivalent system.

Responsibilities

• Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems for commercial products.
• Selection / development packaging materials for Blister packs, Bottles, PFS/Syringe CCS - Foil, Forming materials, Cartons, labels, inserts, shippers etc.
• Good understanding of blister, bottle, cartonator machine.
• Change part layout development for blister / cartonator machines.
• Support packaging documentation for EMA, MHRA, Health Canada, ANVISA, ROW.
• Review packaging specifications as per regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with GMP, cGMP, and pharmacopoeia requirements.
• Coordinate artwork development, review, and approval. Ensure compliance with market‑specific labeling requirements.
• Work closely with R&D Packaging Development, Regulatory Affairs, PPIC, SCM, TT & production
