Job summary

Sun Pharma in Vadodara is seeking a Manager – Packaging & Device Development to drive packaging strategy for India and regulated markets. You will supervise a graphic design team, review artwork, and ensure secure, prominent pack designs while aligning with regulatory requirements.

With a Science/Pharmacy background and a Diploma in Packaging Technology, you will guide development studies, MPC/FMEA reviews, and vendor development, coordinating with regulatory and planning teams to support

• Science/Pharmacy graduate with a Diploma in Packaging Technology.
• Around 9–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor work plan for the graphic designer to release error-free artworks and pack styles for India and regulated markets.
• Artwork development and review activity; primary packaging development.
• Guide subordinates to improve artwork designs, add security features, and enhance visual impact.
• Prepare packaging documentation like Pack Style and Justification Report per product/regulatory requirements.
• Characterization of RLD pack samples and finalization of packing configuration for exhibit batches.

Job Description

• To prepare and monitor work plan for graphic designer as per organization priority / requirements to release error free artworks and pack styles for India and regulated markets.
• Artwork development and review activity. Primary packaging development activity.
• To work and give guidance to subordinates to improve artwork designs quality, to add security features, to give prominent look.
• Preparation of Packaging documentation like Pack Style, Justification Report, comparison etc. as per Product/Regulatory requirements.
• Characterization of RLD pack samples.
• Finalization of packing configuration for Exhibit batch packing of new generic product/NDA as per requirement.
• Identification of new packaging material & new vendor development for packaging material.
• Mold development for primary packaging material & secondary packaging material & its validation.
• Support to Regulatory team on ANDA's/NDA's filling for regulated market.
• Coordination with NPI & planning team for launch of ANDA's/NDA's.
• Preparation & revision of packaging material specification.
• Preparation & review of MPC, FMEA.
• Preparation & review of Development Study protocol & report & execute the study.
• Performing functional test as per country requirement.Coordination with Cross functional team (text partially visible in source image).
