Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Mohali seeks an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a strong OEM manufacturing background to drive quality initiatives across vehicle assembly. You will lead audits, apply FMEA, 5S, and Six Sigma practices to reduce defects and improve processes on the shop floor.

You will mentor teams, ensure compliance with QMS/ISO standards, and collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and service colleagues to deliver defect-free products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in handling manufacturing/customer quality in an OEM.
• Familiarity with ISO/TS quality systems and tools.
• Knowledge of FMEA, Kaizens, Pokeyoke and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Handle shifts for final vehicle clearance and drive manufacturing improvements.
• Coordinate field visits to resolve end-to-end customer/dealer issues.
• Apply QC tools and maintain quality across assembly processes.
• Lead audits and implement quality systems and continuous improvement.

Job description

• Hand ling shifts for final vehicle clearance and Improvement in Manufacturing indexes, Yard Indexes.Conducting and co-ordinating for improvements for Product, process and system audit.Working on Proactive measures and improvement drives such as zero defect generation, Zero leak etc.Day to day problem solving for Assly defects.
• Field visits to understand customer and dealer issues and their end to end resolution (Reduction in customer issues.
