Job summary

Polymed is seeking a qualified professional to advance digital manufacturing initiatives on the shop floor. The role focuses on MES/ERP integration, data integrity and real-time KPI dashboards to drive OEE improvements and energy optimization.

You will collaborate with production, automation and IT teams, assess As-Is/To-Be processes, and deliver ROI-driven projects with timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Production or Computer Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing automation or digital manufacturing.
• Understanding of Power BI, MES, ERP, QMS, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives to boost productivity.
• Digitize processes and eliminate waste on the shop floor.
• Study As-Is and To-Be processes and identify digital transformation opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, automation, and IT teams to enable machine data acquisition.
• Facilitate MES implementation and integration with ERP and other enterprise applications.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability and compliance within MES processes.
• Develop real-time dashboards and KPI reporting systems.
• Provide visibility for OEE, downtime analysis, production tracking, quality metrics, scrap and rework, energy consumption and asset performance.
• Develop project timelines, budgets and ROI assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives; improve productivity through digitization, process improvement and waste elimination initiatives.
• Study & prepare As-Is & To-Be business processes and identify digital transformation opportunities on the shopfloor
• Collaborate with production, automation, and IT teams to enable machine data acquisition and implementation of digital transformation initiatives
• Facilitate MES implementation and its integration with ERP and other enterprise applications.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance within MES processes.

• Develop concepts of real-time dashboards and KPI reporting systems.
• Create visibility for OEE, Downtime Analysis, Production Tracking, Quality Metrics, Scrap and Rework, Energy Consumption, Asset Performance etc.

• Develop project timelines, budgets, and ROI assessments.
