Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Business & Functional Analyst for Digital Manufacturing. The role involves collaborating with production, planning, and quality teams to document business needs and translate them into technical specs for development teams.

You will manage IT projects using waterfall and agile approaches, oversee vendor engagement, and support ERP/SAP integrations. Strong analytics and cross-functional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing domain (Planning, Project management, Procurement, maintenance).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Title: Business & Functional Analyst: Digital Manufacturing

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, planning etc. cross functional teams to gather and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams
• IT project management with waterfall / agile methodologies
• Understanding of SDLC
• Deal with software vendors and getting system developed
• Support the implementation and integration of enterprise systems like SAP, ERP-LN, & other legacy systems
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with IT and cybersecurity standards.
• Wireframing and prototyping using various tools to get clear UI/UX experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Functional Domain (Manufacturing - Planning - Project management - Procurement - maintenance etc.) or as a Business Analyst in corporate environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS/Quality systems etc.).
• Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI. Python, DevOps etc.
• Good at analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and managing multiple tasks / projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise systems.
• Experience with Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies (IoT, predictive maintenance, digital twins/RPA/AI-ML etc.).
• Knowledge Of IT infrastructure and IT security.
