Qualifications

• Understanding & experience in Purchasing – procurement & sourcing
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Knowledge about various processes used for manufacturing of items
• Understanding of project management, engineering drawings, technical specifications of various category items
• Analytical, problem‑solving, technical & communication skills
• Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contract creation)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Act as SPOC for consumables items
• Source and procure consumable items in line with company requirements and quality standards
• Arrange supply purchase agreements and non‑disclosure agreements with vendors
• Handle vendor registration
• Create contracts, pricing, purchase orders, RFQs, RFPs, RFIs and procurement terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for the company
• Conduct reverse auctioning and negotiations
• Approve item rates, manage item price indexation and price variation formulas
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, trends and cost‑saving opportunities
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
• Provide management reporting on contracts progress
