Job summary

State Street is seeking a results-driven testing professional to lead end-to-end testing within large-scale transformation programs. This role focuses on strategy, planning, execution, and management of testing across front, middle, and back-office operations, with complex data flows involving clients and partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, familiarity with AI concepts, and the ability to drive AI-enabled testing to improve coverage, speed, and quality across programs.

Qualifications

• 4-9 years of experience in functional testing with solid understanding of Capital Markets.
• 3+ years leading project teams across internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Investment Banking apps across Front Office (CRD), Middle Office, Back Office, across multiple asset classes.
• Strong capability in designing Test Strategy and Test Approach aligned with client service models.
• Plan and execute activities based on project milestones.
• Experience producing test metrics and delivering timely status reports to management.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and deliver programs.
• Proficiency with Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and PowerPoint.
• Work closely with Business (Test case reviews/ops readiness) and IT teams (deployments/fixes).
• Defect management - articulate defects, assign to IT, track fix dates and resolutions.
• Good understanding of AI concepts and AI-driven testing approaches, including identifying AI adoption opportunities.
• Experience with UiPath for test automation management.

• Lead strategic delivery initiatives and contribute to the GCI delivery model.
• Oversee a global team of testers across regions for high-quality delivery.
• Drive adoption of testing best practices and standards across the organization.
• Script, run and troubleshoot Robotic test automation.
• Support AI understanding and AI-driven testing adoption.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Act as a delivery-focused role model and back up Test Lead as needed.
• Coordinate with US/UK and SSC Clients/third-party vendors.
• Be flexible to work APAC/UK hours when required.

Within GCI’s Global Testing Practice, the focus is on strategy, planning, execution, and management of end‑to‑end platform testing across implementation programs. These programs span front, middle, and back office operations and involve complex data flows across State Street, Charles River Development, clients, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, familiarity with AI concepts, and an interest in leveraging AI‑driven approaches to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and quality.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Drive the adoption of best practices, testing standards, and process excellence across the organization.
• Script, Run and troubleshoot Robotic test automation
• Support AI understanding and champion the adoption of AI‑driven testing methodologies.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Exemplify a delivery‑focused, team‑driven mindset and act as a role model for peers and colleagues.
• Be a back‑up to Test lead and assist in producing test metrics and status reporting to the management on timely basis
• Coordination with US / UK and third‑party vendors or SSC Clients
• Flexibility to work in APAC/UK hrs (when required).

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Management or Information System Management.
