Job summary

Danfoss Drives is seeking an ALM specialist to shape and advance our Polarion-based platform for global teams. You will design workflows, automations, and extensions while ensuring scalable, reliable ALM solutions that meet engineering needs across locations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust implementations, support upgrades, and drive best practices for long-term sustainability in a complex, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and developing Polarion ALM solutions (workflows, items, dashboards).
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, REST APIs and SQL.
• Experience with extension or plugin development and integrations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and enhance Polarion solutions, workflows, and automation to improve efficiency and user experience across global teams.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions, integrations, and APIs that connect Polarion with critical engineering and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and engineering needs into scalable, maintainable ALM solutions.
• Support platform upgrades, performance improvements, and issue resolution to ensure a stable and reliable environment.
• Establish development best practices and provide technical guidance that strengthens solution quality and long-term sustainability

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience configuring and developing solutions within Polarion ALM, including workflows, work items, reporting, dashboards, and customization.
• Practical expertise in Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, SQL, and extension or plugin development.
• Experience integrating Polarion with enterprise engineering platforms, preferably PLM environments such as Teamcenter.
• Ability to analyze requirements, solve complex problems, and design scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
