Job summary

Valtech in Bangalore seeks an AI Lead Developer to drive experience innovation and AI-driven customer experiences. You will shape full-stack solutions, combining ReactJS/Next.js frontend with Python FastAPI backend and private or offline AI deployments.

You will work in an Agile consulting environment, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable AI pipelines, data governance, and KPI-focused insights for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend exp with ReactJS and Next.js.
• Backend exp with Python (FastAPI) and familiarity with NodeJS/NestJS.
• Hands-on AI/LLM systems, embeddings, and private/offline AI setups.
• Experience with vector databases for similarity search (OpenSearch/Chroma).
• Model evaluation, tuning, and reducing hallucinations.
• Data handling with PostgreSQL and object storage (Azure Blob, Data Lake, MinIO).
• Ability to build KPIs and insights using SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, security best practices, and enterprise design.

Role & Responsibilities

• 1. Strong experience in frontend development using ReactJS and Next.js
  Solid backend engineering skills in Python (FastAPI) with working knowledge of NodeJS or NestJS
  2. Hands-on experience with AI and LLM-based systems, including embeddings, intelligent analysis, and private or offline AI setups
  3. Experience with vector databases such as OpenSearch or Chroma for similarity search and RAG-based solutions
  4. Practical exposure to model evaluation, response accuracy tuning, and hallucination reduction techniques
  5. Strong understanding of data handling using PostgreSQL and object storage platforms such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, or MinIO for structured and unstructured data
  6. Ability to analyze data, build KPIs, and derive actionable insights using SQL and Python
  7. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and enterprise-grade system design
  8. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into measurable business value

Must Have

1. Experience with AI workflows such as RAG, agent-based systems, LLM-driven integrations, and scalable AI pipelines

2. Exposure to private or offline AI setups, including local LLM deployments

3. Strong backend experience using Python with FastAPI for building AI services and APIs

4. Frontend exposure using ReactJS / Next.js for AI-driven user interfaces

5. Good understanding of PostgreSQL and object storage platforms such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, or MinIO

6. Experience building KPIs, dashboards, and insights using SQL and Python

7. Background in Retail, Digital, or large-scale enterprise platforms

8. Ability to explain complex AI and technical concepts in a simple, business-friendly manner
