Job summary

Valtech Bangalore is seeking an experienced Node.js/TypeScript Developer – OMS, to help shape next generation order management experiences. You’ll contribute to scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs and microservices, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Bring 4–7 years of hands-on Node.js/TypeScript work, collaboration and an agile mindset. The role offers a flexible work setup with remote and hybrid options and opportunities to work with global brands across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API integration.
• Familiarity with OMS concepts (order lifecycle, inventory, fulfillment, returns).
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT).

Responsibilities

• Backend development using Node.js and TypeScript for scalable enterprise applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support OMS workflows.
• Integrate with Order Management Systems (OMS) such as Fluent OMS, Salesforce OMS, or custom-built solutions.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth order lifecycle management.
• Optimize performance, handle error logging, and ensure secure data exchange.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
