Job summary

Bounteous in India is seeking a senior Adobe Experience Platform architect to design end-to-end journey orchestration using AJO/CJO. You will translate business needs into scalable real-time solutions across email, SMS, web, and in-app channels.

The role requires hands-on experience with AEP, RT-CDP, and XDM schema design, plus leading architecture discussions with cross-functional teams. Remote-friendly environment with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of overall IT experience.
• 3–5+ years hands-on with Adobe Customer Journey Optimizer (AJO/CJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Experience designing enterprise-scale omnichannel customer engagement and personalization solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end customer journeys across channels and implement them.
• Integrate CJO with AEP; design data ingestion and event pipelines.
• Provide architectural guidance and review solution designs with teams.
• Define governance, privacy policies, and compliance for data usage.
• Lead architecture workshops and support pre-sales demonstrations when needed.

Job description

• Design end-to-end customer journey solutions using Adobe Customer Journey Optimizer (AJO/CJO).
• Define scalable architecture for real-time, omnichannel customer engagement.
• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs and architecture.

Journey Design & Orchestration

• Design and implement customer journeys across email, SMS, push notifications, web, and in-app channels.
• Build event-triggered, rule-based, and personalized customer journeys.
• Optimize journey flows to improve customer engagement and conversion.

Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Integration

• Integrate Customer Journey Optimizer with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Configure Real-Time Customer Profiles, Identity Service, and audience segmentation.
• Design data ingestion and event streaming pipelines to support journey orchestration.
• Implement personalized experiences using customer profiles, behavioral data, and business rules.
• Configure decision management and offer strategies for targeted customer interactions.

Integration & APIs

• Integrate CJO with CRM, marketing automation platforms, CMS, analytics tools, and third-party applications.
• Design and implement REST API and event-driven integrations.
• Ensure seamless data flow between enterprise systems.

Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural guidance and best practices for Customer Journey Optimizer implementations.
• Review solution designs, mentor development teams, and ensure adherence to Adobe implementation standards.
• Support troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Governance & Compliance

• Define data governance, consent management, and privacy policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and enterprise security standards.
• Establish monitoring, auditing, and operational governance processes.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize journey execution, event processing, and customer segmentation.
• Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Analyze journey metrics and recommend enhancements to improve customer outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with marketing, business, product, and technical teams to define customer engagement strategies.
• Lead architecture workshops and present solution recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activities, effort estimation, and solution demonstrations when required.
