Job summary

Instinctools India is seeking an AI Tech Lead to drive AI-first engineering practices across delivery projects for European and US clients. This hands-on role requires leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers, and shaping AI-powered development standards.

You will work with the CTO and engineering teams, evaluate new AI tools, participate in hiring, and own project outcomes from design to production, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot in daily workflows.
• Ability to demonstrate practical use of AI-assisted engineering during the interview process.
• Strong experience leading technical delivery and making architecture decisions.
• Proven track record delivering projects end-to-end, including planning, implementation, production support, and stakeholder communication.

We are looking for an AI Tech Lead to join our team and help drive the adoption of AI-first engineering practices across delivery projects, teams, and internal initiatives.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Tech Lead who actively uses AI coding agents in daily development and can demonstrate real production experience.

In this role, you will combine technical leadership, software delivery, mentoring, and engineering excellence. You will help establish AI-first development practices, support the growth of engineering talent, contribute to hiring, and drive successful delivery for international clients.

Working closely with our CTO and engineering teams, you will play a key role in shaping how we build software with AI across the organization.

Our Expectations of the Candidate

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Proven experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools as part of daily development workflows
• Ability to demonstrate practical use of AI-assisted engineering during the interview process
• Strong experience leading technical delivery and making architecture decisions
• Proven track record of delivering projects end-to-end, including planning, implementation, production support, and stakeholder communication
• Experience working with fixed-price projects and delivery ownership
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills with the ability to help junior engineers grow quickly

English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
