Job summary

OpenText, a global leader in information management, seeks a Software Developer in Hyderabad to build complex enterprise software. You will own code quality, participate in design and estimation, and contribute to agile, test-driven development using modern AI frameworks and tools.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of product development experience, strong Python skills, NLP knowledge, REST APIs, and experience with UI frameworks like BackboneJS or AngularJS.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/MBA/MSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of enterprise product development experience.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, design, and coding skills.
• Proficiency in REST API implementation and consuming different APIs.
• Hands-on experience with UI frameworks based on object-oriented JavaScript, such as BackboneJS or AngularJS.
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to information management.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex software independently with ownership of code quality and timely delivery.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Software Developer, you will independently develop complex software while taking ownership of code quality and timely delivery. You will play an active role in analysis, design, and planning, helping the team resolve issues quickly and adopt strong engineering practices, including agile development and test-driven development.

• Python: Strong, hands-on experience with Python and its libraries.
• AI Frameworks: Good understanding of AI frameworks and their practical application.
• AI Agents: Experience with agentic AI concepts, including the development and deployment of tools and agents.
• Hands-on experience working with LangGraph/LangChain

Additional Requirements
