Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end AI/GenAI initiatives in India. You will scope, plan, resource, execute and close complex programs spanning data, platforms, and business SMEs.

Leverage Agile/Scrum or hybrid methods to guide cross-functional squads of data scientists, AI architects, and platform engineers, while ensuring governance, security, and GDPR-aligned data protection where relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in project/program management with AI/ML, data, or automation projects.
• Experience delivering IT/ Digital/ Delivery Office initiatives including ITSM, DevOps, automation or shared services.
• Strong grasp of the AI/GenAI lifecycle.
• Hands-on with Agile/Scrum and Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe certification.
• Excellent stakeholder management and English communication.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms and GenAI tooling is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL v4, ServiceNow, and modern DevOps toolchains is a plus.
• Background in large-enterprise IT transformation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AI delivery portfolio view, dependencies and capacity planning.
• Produce monthly/quarterly status, financial, benefits, and risk reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of project/program management experience, including at least 3 years delivering AI/ML, data, or automation projects
• Proven track record managing initiatives within IT and/or Digital/Delivery Office environments, including ITSM, DevOps, automation, employee experience, or shared services
• Strong grasp of the AI/GenAI lifecycle
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum and project tooling, including Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Confluence
• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe certification
• Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication in English
• Experience with cloud AI platforms and enterprise GenAI tooling is a nice-to-have
• Familiarity with ITIL v4, ServiceNow, and modern DevOps toolchains is a nice-to-have
• Background in large‑enterprise IT transformation is a nice-to-have
• Exposure to responsible‑AI frameworks and data-privacy regulations such as GDPR is a nice-to-have
