Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks an experienced AI Product Project Owner to drive projects from initiation to closure, aligning business value with AI delivery and governance. You will manage stakeholders, set expectations, and plan resources, timelines, and milestones to ensure value realization.

The role requires strong PM/Agile skills, knowledge of AI technologies, and experience coordinating across CIOs and senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (any field).
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Knowledge of AI technology and tools.
Knowledge of basic IT development platform and technology stacks.

Responsibilities

Owns discovery of business, data, and process requirements, including downstream change impacts.
Translates business problems into AI solvable questions.
Ensures AI work creates real business value, not just technical output.
Owns AI solution success across its lifecycle, including post deployment monitoring and value realization.
Ensures responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, explainability) are considered and escalated where needed.
Aligns data readiness and ownership with AI delivery milestones.
Collaborates with CIOs and BU Senior-managements to own use case selection and prioritization.
Owns the tracking of success metrics (ROI, efficiency, risk reduction) also after solution-delivery.
Decides build vs buy vs stop including proper escalation mechanism.
Drive and participate in the testing and user-acceptance phases.
Plan project timeline and milestones.
Collaborate with AI and data architects to create work break down.
Identifies and mitigates delivery, data, and AI specific risks (e.g. bias, drift, adoption).
Monitor and control project progress.
Ensure effective and proactive/structured communication.
Drive projects to closure as planned.
Support team with documentation.
Mentor and support junior team members.

This role combines classical project-management principles with AI product-ownership. Its important to understand, drive and deliver projects from project initiation to closure.
