Job summary

Backdropsource is seeking an AI Motion Graphic Designer to craft scroll-stopping, UGC-style short-form videos by blending AI-generated footage with traditional motion design. You will own the pipeline from concept to launch-ready assets for social platforms.

On-site role in Coimbatore with exposure to global markets and a fast-paced creative team. The role requires 1–3 years in motion graphics or related fields, proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro, and a portfolio showcasing short-form

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or content creation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI video generation or AI avatar tool (Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, or similar).
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; comfort with CapCut for fast-turnaround social edits.
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating short-form video and/or motion graphics work.
• Sharp visual design instincts — typography, color, and brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Concept, script, and produce UGC-style short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for product launches, promotions, and always-on social content.
• Generate raw footage, AI avatars, voiceovers, and B-roll using AI video tools.
• Design and animate motion graphics — kinetic text, product callouts, lower-thirds, transitions — in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Turn AI-generated raw cuts into launch-ready assets using editing software.
• Adapt a single core video concept into multiple cut-downs and aspect ratios for various platforms.
• Partner with the design and marketing team on briefs, storyboards, and content calendar.
• Track emerging AI video tools and speed up production without compromising quality.
• Keep brand voice, colors, and typography consistent across assets.
• Organize footage, AI-generated assets, and project files for fast iteration.

Role Summary

We're hiring an AI Motion Graphic Designer to create scroll-stopping, UGC-style short-form video content —product demos, unboxings, transformations, and social ads — by combining AI generation tools with traditional motion design and editing craft. You'll own the pipeline end-to-end: from concept and AI-generated raw footage/avatars/voiceovers to polished, launch-ready motion graphics for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and product pages.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept, script, and produce UGC-style short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for product launches, promotions, and always-on social content
• Generate raw footage, AI avatars, voiceovers, and B-roll using AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs)
• Design and animate motion graphics — kinetic text, product callouts, lower-thirds, transitions — in After
• Effects/Premiere Pro to turn AI-generated raw cuts into launch-ready assets
• Adapt a single core video concept into multiple cut-downs and aspect ratios for Meta Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and product listing pages
• Partner with the design and marketing team on creative briefs, storyboards, and the content calendar
• Track emerging AI video and image generation tools, and pressure-test new tools/workflows to speed up production without compromising quality
• Keep brand voice, colors, and typography consistent across every AI-assisted and traditionally produced asset
• Organize footage, AI-generated assets, and project files for fast iteration and reuse across campaigns

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or content creation — e-commerce or D2C brand experience is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI video generation or AI avatar tool (Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, or similar)
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; comfort with CapCut for fast-turnaround social edits
• A strong sense of UGC-style storytelling — hooks, pacing, and native formatting for each platform
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating short-form video and/or motion graphics work
• Sharp visual design instincts — typography, color, and brand consistency

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar)
• Familiarity with paid social ad specs (Meta, TikTok)
• Basic scripting or copywriting skills for video hooks and captions
