Job summary

Creator Engine in Mumbai seeks an experienced motion graphics artist to craft visuals from concept to screen, building from scratch or adapting existing designs for a creator's full output. You'll ensure a cohesive visual language across cuts and shots.

You will fuse AI-generated and live-action footage, track and composite with a strong sense of perspective, space, and lighting, and drive editorial transitions with real ownership of the work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on motion graphics experience.
• Expert-level After Effects, with strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro.
• Comfortable using AI tools inside a motion graphics workflow.
• A portfolio showing tracking, compositing, and AI/live-action integration.
• Flexibility to overlap with US time zones when projects need it.
• Good sense of typography, brand consistency, and audio-sync.

Responsibilities

• Bring strong composition and design fundamentals to every frame: hierarchy, spacing, scale, perspective, and lighting.
• Build dynamic text animation that feels editorial and unique.
• Integrate graphics and text into live footage with tracking and perspective accuracy.

About Creator Engine

Creator Engine is a post-production studio working with digital creators and premium content brands across India and globally. Our work lives inside timelines built for YouTube, social, and long-form storytelling, where motion graphics carry weight. They're not decoration bolted on at the end.

About the Role

This isn't a role where you animate designs someone else has already worked out. You'll take a visual idea and decide how it should actually work on screen: build it from scratch, adapt an existing design, or reach for a template, plugin, or off-the-shelf solution when that's the faster route to the same result. You'll be working across one creator's full output, so the visual language you build has to hold up cut after cut, not just once.

What You'll Do

• Bring strong composition and design fundamentals to every frame: hierarchy, spacing, scale, perspective, and lighting, and how all of it works together
• Build dynamic text animation that feels intentional and editorial, not lifted from a repetitive animation template
• Integrate graphics and text naturally into live footage using camera and object tracking, with a real sense of perspective and space
• Composite AI-generated characters, environments, and visuals into real footage so they read as part of the same shot: lighting, perspective, scale, and camera movement all matching
• Push AI-generated and stock footage further through compositing, motion, lighting, and effects, not just drop it in as-is
• Build transitions that are motivated by what's actually in the shot, not pulled from a standard transitions pack
• Know when a template, plugin, or expression gets you there faster, and when the job needs a custom build to look right

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on motion graphics experience
• Expert-level After Effects, with strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro
• Comfortable using AI tools inside a motion graphics workflow: this is a working expectation, not a nice-to-have
• A portfolio that shows tracking, compositing, and AI/live-action integration, not just standalone animation
• Flexibility to overlap with US time zones when projects need it
• Good to have: basic 3D (Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya), a sense of typography and brand consistency, and an understanding of audio-sync and music-driven motion
